Many people pray for the healing of the tumor Ishikiri shrine”

If you pray to the god of Ishikiri shrine,

it is said your swellings and Tumor will heal.

Now, patients with cancer also visit and pray.

And this place is very interesting.

There are many shops on the approach to the shrine.
It is a cityscape. nostalgic

Access

I take a train from Kintetsu Osaka Uehonmachi station

to Ishikiri Station(石切)

Ishikiri station is on the side of a mountain.

You take the train for ” Nara” (奈良)

How to pray

Many people pray to god.

There is a special rule of pray.

People pray and walk around a circuit between 2 stones

for 100 times.

We call it Ohyakudo-mairi

I ate Akashi-yaki

On the outside, it looks like takoyaki,

but has a softer and more eggy texture than takoyaki.

You eat it by dipping it into a soup.

(About 500yen)

It is nice snack!!

Around Ishikiri shrine is close from Osaka city and perfect for a walk.

See you on our next trip!!
