Himeji castle – The way to Himeji Castle from Osaka –

Himeji Castle also known as White Heron Castle (Shirasagijo)
It is due to its elegant.
My foreigner friends want to visit this Castle.

Recommended course

JR Osaka station → JR Himeji station→ Miyuki-dori shopping arcade

→ Sushi bar Avanzar → Himeji castle → Kokoen (Japanese garden)

→ Thai-Yaki ( Japanese sweets)→JR Himeji station

JR Osaka station to JR Himeji station is about 1 hour by Red express.

Platform 5 For Himeji red express. (新快速 姫路 Shin-kaisoku Himeji)

Arrival Himeji Station.

You can see the castle from Main Street at front of the station.

But I walked along a shopping arcade

“Miyuki-dori street”

The right side of Main street.

I saw some shops.

　

I visited a Sushi bar for lunch.

Go into the miyuki-dori street, turn the right at the next T-junction.

I walked alond Miyuki-dori again.

Go out from the shopping arcade.
There is the castle.

I went over the Gokuraku-bashi Bridge into Himeji castle.

I went to the ticket counter.

I got common ticket of Himeji castle and Koko-en (Japanese garden)

1,040yen( The castle only 1,000 yen)

But the staff said I have to line up in the castle.

That was true, I needed about 2hours.

There is a toilet on the right side of this gate.

This is the last toilet in this course.

(You can not use a toilet for about 2 hours)

It was really crowded.
