People line up before entering the castle.
If you do not like to line up any more, there is an exit here.
There are very steep stairs.
It is a little hard for to people who have weak legs.
When I was child, I came to this castle with my family.
It was very nice. I was able to tour slowly .
It has changed now.
I could go outside.
Fan curve of walls.
The well of Okiku (Okiku is the name of a women)
This well is very famous in Japan.
It is written in ghost stories
and Rakugo (Japanese classic storytelling).
Nishi-no-Maru (The west Baily)
The castle looks very beautiful from Nishi-no Maru.
You can visit the long connecting corridor and some towers.
This place is vacant.
You can enjoy tour slowly in the building.
I went to Koko-en (Japanese garden) at the left of Himeji castle
It is about 500 meters.
You can enjoy 13 different gardens.
You can relax.
There is a tea ceremony room and
you can experience the tea ceremony.
If I guide my foreign friends to Himeji castle,
I do not visit inside the building of the castle.
Turn back at the exit on the way.
I visit the well of Okiku and go to Nishi-no-Maru (West Baily).
And relax at the Koko-en(Japanese garden).
After I will go to Yu-ji-do (Taiyaki sweets shop)
And back to the Station.
See you on our next trip!!
