投稿日:2018年1月6日 更新日:

I visited Ise Shrine on 3rd January.

It is important 3 days of New Year for Japanese people.

It is like Christmas.

Many people visit to Shrine and pray for health and Happiness.

We call this custom “Hatsumoude”

The official nameof this shrine is Jingu.

Common name is Oise-san or Ise-jingu.

The G7 Ise-Shima summit was held this area in 2016.

There is two shrines in Ise-jingu, Naiku shrine and Geku shrine.

Naiku shrine is dedicated to the Sun god.

Foundation of Naiku shrine was 2000 years ago.

Geku shrine is dedicated to the God of clothing, food and shelter.

Foundation of Geku shrine was 1500 years ago.

There are more than hundred Shrines, large and small, in this area.

I started Osaka-Uehonmachi Station (Kintetsu line) at 7:15.

Semi Express for Isuzugawa (五十鈴川) station.

Get off at the Ise-shi (伊勢市駅)Station.

Please you use “JR Side Exit”

It is the close Exit to Geku shrine.

information center on right side.

There are free maps.

First I went to Geku shrine and then I visited Naiku shrine.

About 5 minute by walk Ise-shi Station to Geku shrine.
