  5 highlights of this building 

  1. The school gate

    目次

    Chinese-style gate.There are windows on both sides, it is called Katou-mado.

    It has a flower shape on the upside of the window.

  2. A wall built by piling up stones.

    The wall shape on the top side is rounded, beautiful.

    The stones were washed thoroughly

    and piled up without gaps.

    The grass does not grow on the wall since

    when it was made 300 years ago.

    The roof tile

    This roof tiles are ceramic Bizen ware,

    made in Okayama prefecture.

    The roof tiles have different colors.

    aThey are very tough and not broken in 300 years.

  3. The floor

    It is rarely cleaned but it is beautifully shining.
    The roof tile system is very special and no dust
    falls from the ceiling.

  4. The pillars

    These pillars are distorted.

    Four pillars were made from a huge zelkova tree.

    In the lecture hall, there are 10 pillars

    made from 2 and half huge zelkova trees.

    The tree is distorted from the core,

    but they did not use the core.

Please take time to enjoy seeing the building.

When I visited there, temporary stores opened.

I ate an oyster lunch box!!
