Entrance Panel

The entrance sets the tone with the theme “Primordial, Future, Forest”.
Floating Models
Hundreds of floating architectural models create a dreamlike space, showcasing Fujimoto’s experiments with organic and futuristic forms.
Walking through this space, you feel as if you are peering into a future city.
Seeing the photo panels of actual completed buildings, it was fascinating to understand how these visionary ideas were realized in real life.

Wooden Structures
Large-scale wooden frameworks allow visitors to walk inside, experiencing how architecture can shape the way we move and feel.
This is a 1/5 scale model of the Grand Roof Ring at Expo 2025 Kansai, Osaka.
Visitors can actually walk through the structure. Since I visited the Expo last month, I was impressed to realize that this model represents the massive building I had just seen in person.

Light & Organic Installations
Fujimoto’s iconic white spherical installations evoke natural growth patterns, blending science, design, and art.
They feel less like art objects and more like visions of a future city.
Inside the spheres, you can see miniature human figures, giving a glimpse of how people might live within such structures.
I felt excited, wondering if I would witness this kind of lifestyle within my lifetime.
